The Story

The Heleä dress is made of woven viscose fabric, and it has a slim fit, a straight top, and a flared cut hem. The dress features the Akvarelli Unikko pattern, which looks like it was painted with watercolours. It has an O-neck, a concealed zipper in the back seam, short kimono sleeves, and a waist seam.

The main material contains at least 30% CIRCULOSE® recycled from textile waste. The color and surface will soften with washing and use.

Marimekko’s famous pattern Unikko was born in 1964 in a time when the design house’s collections featured mostly abstract prints. Designer Maija Isola wanted to create something interesting from this organic theme and designed an entire range of floral prints. Today, the iconic flower represents creativity.
